Planning a spot in Lakewood
- A level pad of concrete, pavers or a rated deck is step one, no matter which Lakewood neighborhood you are in.
- Check gate widths and any slope down to the pad, especially on lake-view lots near Steilacoom.
- A 110V plug-and-play spa needs just an outlet; a 240V spa needs a licensed electrician to run a new circuit.
- Confirm permit rules with the City of Lakewood before any electrical or pad work begins.
- Newer Oakbrook-area subdivisions may have HOA rules on where a spa can sit. Check those before you pick your spot.

★★★★★We bought our hot tub at the Tacoma store about a year ago.
Santi (the salesman there) was great about showing us several options in hot tubs, several options for financing, and never pressured us at all…
